How do I average hourly sequential meteorological data to monthly or seasonal for AERSCREEN?

Hi all, I am doing some work with AERSCREEN and ADMS-SCREEN and I am trying to compare both models for short term pollutant concentration. I have one-year hourly sequential meteorological data for the site and I am seeking for a reasonable way to average it to monthly/seasonal data which I can use for AERSCREEN. Is there a way to do this or is it reasonable to just take the mean of the values?
