As a novice in the world of research with the aim to publish in a peer-reviewed high-quality journal, you do all you can to get quality work. Sometimes the feedback from reviewers can discourage you. However, with determination and hard work you can get through. Then come the joy and excitement when you get an email of the acceptance of your paper. I remember the feeling and it is an experience one will never forget.
After a scary first review outcome which took some time I was not sure if my reply to the comments would what they expected.
I was delighted to receive acceptance letter from the journal.
It was a conference to be held in Egypt and just 6 months into my job as a graduate assistant. I was tensed but somehow confident that the input and corrections from my Professor prior to submission will earn me acceptance. When the news came, I was so happy that I went home to celebrate with my family and that sparked the interest to do more. I look back now after 11 years and happy for the first step.
I received maiden acceptance from a reputed journal (Materials Science and Engineering A, Elsevier). The manuscript was accepted without any prior rejection. It felt as an appreciation to the hard work done over a year. The reviewer comments were a motivation to submit further works for publication. The joy was immense to publish a paper in a leading and prestigious publisher. Many researchers from our geographical location are longing and struggling a lot to publish a single paper in a high impact reputed journal. It gave me a sense of a great achievement.
I received the first acceptance from a reputed journal. The manuscript was accepted after many rejections. I felt happy when the work got accepted as the reviewer comments were encouraging and motivating. From that moment, our group and I have published more than 10 papers in reputed journals.

Surely, the most important thing is the manuscript's own quality. If an author is confident enough, he/she always has to continue to try to publish among high-quality journals. A barrage of discouragement is a norm of academic life. It happens. Even if it happens, it does not mean that you have reached the end of the road.
I feel like I have gotten the result of my work. In fact, i am become encourage. it gives me a double motivation for the next work.

It is a good feeling, but when your paper is accepted in high impact journal it feels like I have achieved something grt.

I want to reflect on one example.
When you have published 25 papers in national and international publishers. After that, you observed that suddenly all academic institutions are focused on the SCOPUS and ABDC Listed Journal.
When you feel very poor.
Now, you work hard for the Scopus publication, and finally, one Scopus paper will fall into your account.
Then how much, you become happy.
There are no words to explain my happiness.
