Hi everyone,
I started a MiSeq run today and everything checked off as fine and I started the run. It finished in less than an hour and said "sequencing complete." However, there was not one single piece of data. There was nothing. I am so confused! Could this be a machine error? I know I added everything to the cartridge.

Hi Katy, this does not sound like machine error. When it finished in less than an hour, this would mean that it stopped right after (or presumably within) cluster generation. However, if clustering fails the machine would give an error. Are you sure you specified the right amount of sequencing cycles in the SampleSheet?
Wellllll... I loaded my library in the wrong well. That is a first. Yikes. Thanks for your response!
To prevent future mistakes (I doubt it will ever happen again) Look out for the big orange circle that indicates load
