U. polygonalis is a synonym to U. gilvata, so there remain only two species.
František Slamka writes in "Pyraloidea of Europe" to U. gilvata:
The ground color of the forewing is dark brownish, medial area partly lighter in color, hind wings are yellowish with a brownish marginal band. ( the mediterranean subspecies)
U. reversalis: has forewings normally rusty in colour , marginal band is normally instinct, hindwingsare normally completely yellowish in colour with brownish blotch in the apex. Positive identification is only possible through dissection of the genitalia. Male has a slender valvae, in aedeagus the cornutus is longer."
thank you, I have noticed and studied u. glivata since 1986, in Damascus on spartium junceum, with life cycle, and all insects and parasites on this plant until 2016. no body registered any of those insects (some parasites I still working on identify the species ) on spartium in my country , could you advice me where to publish my results.
