Yes you are right, but we can not use in the same article two modes of writing to give the std potential of a system one time ox/red for a couple and red/ox for another espacilly if we did not know the value of E°. Thx for yr explanation

Strictly speaking neither oxalic acid nor ascorbic acid prevent the hole-electron recombination. They react with holes and thus the holes are removed from the system
Can we use another pollutant than dichromate such as dye crystal violet or malachite green to study the increase in the TiO2 oerformance in the presence of formic acid
