Personally I find no short-cut aside practice, practice & practice (practice to read, reflect, write, then read, reflect, write...)
Reading similar topics to you own field and using clear description to your work and idea. is part of the job. Of course, practice make you more familiar with your weaknesses and then you can start from there to move to the next step in writing..Regards
