You can certainly "follow" publications, they will then appear under "research you follow" when you filter by content type "research items".

Or, as V R Arun Prakash suggests, simply request the articles and you will have access to them in your inbox.

I guess no such options are available in RG (cloud saving). If you like any article send a article request. Yiu will get it in couple of days from the respective author. Cool
