Since the presence of Ti in gray iron lead to decreases hardness and the other hand lead to formation ferrite on the surface especially thin section, then the element (Ti) is harmful in the chemical composition at gray iron, so we want to reduce or remove the element from the melt. So who know any idea or particular procedure for remove the element from the melt during making melt. If there are any material or alloy elements that can be add to melt for this mean please share your information.
