I need some information that can help me to design my experiment. the first thing i want to know is that there is any membrane that can permeate just organic compound from bulk liquid, or any selective membrane for organic compound that can permeate from bulk liquid.
You may consider ultrafiltration membranes. It depends on what molecules to separate.
lianchengweng@ actually i want to pass citrate and acetate through membrane from bulk liquid. so it can be filtrate through membrane in to other container. its a kind of permeation. What you think ?

I think PDMS composite membrane in pervaporation process can help you. In the composite membranes for organic compound separation and ethanol separation from liquid in pervaporation process, the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) is one of the most interesting membranes that has been extensively studied as selective layer in pervaporation process.
I recommend you to study attached papers which may help you.

For example Gao used PDMS/PS membrane to separate water and alcohol (8 wt%) in pervaporation process. Salehi Shahrabi et al. used polyethersulfone membranes (PES) with various additives including PVP and PEG as support layers in composite PDMS membranes. The effect of support layers on the water/ toluene separation process was investigated.

The molecular weights of citrate and acetate are not high. They might permeate out from the bulk liquid. However, selection of membranes depends also on the properties and molecular weight of stuff in the bulk phase. In addition, these two substances are organic acid, so the possibility of corrosion to the surface materials of the membrane must be considered.
I'm not sure why you think ED will not work. Maybe I don't fully understand what you're trying to do. What is the composition of your starting material, and what exactly do you want to separate?
