I had solution for sandwich beam with viscoelastic core. The properties of viscoelastic material is taken in the form as
E = E ' + i * E " or E = E ' ( 1 + i * eta ) ; where eta (loss factor) = E " /E, where E ' = Storage Modulus, E " = Loss Modulus.
I would like to verify the solution using ANSYS. But I couldn't find the way to define the E' / E" / eta in ANSYS APDL.

Apart from ANSYS, you can check the results in softwares such as Helius composite from AUTODESK (Free ware) or J-Octa for soft material applications were in based on the organic structure of the material we can extract the mechanical, physical and rheological properties. The Storage modulus (E') of a material is related to its ability to return energy, while the Loss Modulus (E'') is related with its propensity to loose energy. I recommend that you read the thesis attached which includes what you are looking for.

for FE-Simulation with a viscoelastic material model usually you need to convert E', E'', eta from your DMA-measurement into a Prony-Series. For this issue we have written the MATLAB code DMA2PRONY_OPT, you can find it on MATLAB Central.
