In my own opinion, we can fight corruption in our individual society or nation by publicly publishing statistics on corruption cases in government departments and ministries on monthly, quarterly or annual basis to show which government establishment is most corrupt. This will create awareness on corrupt practices and people would be properly informed concerning corruption cases in the society. If this is done and replicated in several aspect of governance with the use of published statistics on corruption, I think it will go a long way in stemming the tide of corruption in our society.
We can fight corruption by publishing correct and reliable statistics. If data are made available to all, corruption will be reduced/eliminated as there will be no hiding place for the corrupt people.
Corruption has become mania ,it has become a nuisance .In political environment it is said that power corrupts power &absolute power corrupt absolutely .It is in this line statistic may turn out to be useful it will act as an arithmetical calculation .
With this for the corruption anywhere as it may be in the offices ,business world or political environment we have to find rout the base of the root of corruption & find out the suitable action for removing it by first rating of punishment of corrupt personal & subsequently by making out the working policy we have to control under statistical method .
