Open access Vs closed access journals! What's your experience in access a closed access journal publications, especially with issue of money in access such publications?

I don’t have an experience with closed access journals.
I per my experience, open access journals/ publication is 1000 times better than closed one.
As a friend of open knowledge and learning, I prefer all kinds of scientific repositories. If you are really an expert in your field, you will easily recognize a fake journal/publisher. The scientific publication business is shaken by the I-Net; predatory publishing fees are one of its features. But, we have also the scientific congress business, etc. Science is an important part (quantification) of the production sphere, with all the risks involved, concerning the quality of research.
Note that many Springer journals let you share your articlevia ReadCube, even if it is not published open access, so that it can be read for free by anyone (but cannot be downloaded if one has no valid subscription) who has a sufficiently modern browser to handle enhanced PDF; for example, the published version of my recent article Integrable (3+1)-dimensional systems with rational Lax pairs can be read in this way here: http://rdcu.be/Dkwh .
This can be a reasonable substitute for open access ( unless you are officially required to publish open access by, say, your university or your grant agency ), but again you should check this for each journal separately whether this feature is available for it; see also https://www.springernature.com/gp/researchers/sharedit for details.
Next, many journals (including many of those published by Elsevier and Springer) can, for a fee, publish your article open access even without being open access as a whole; of course, you must check separately whether this could be done for any specific journal you are interested in.
In fact like IKPress publishers, you will need to pay a fee of $30 for PDF file of an article. It is strictly closed access. I definitely prefer open access journal publisher with absolutely free access to their publications. Mostly enjoy by postgraduate students and young researchers.

Now a days most of the earlier closed access journals keep the option of open access publication of articles, but they demand a very high amount of money for such publication. But the articles published in the same issue of the journal as closed access, their demand for money is lesser.
Problem is in payment of money in open access publication. As Dr. Pal said, if their is no scope for arrangement of money for such publication of articles, authors prefer closed access publication of article.
The journal publishers are not for performing any Noble work. They are doing business. Except some good journals having good fund source, history is almost same everywhere.
But you will definitely get lesser number of citation of your closed access publications.
If free PDF of an related article is available in Google, who will want to spend 30 - 40 Dollars for each article?
This is not seen just in one case, where University purchased link of publisher/s.

Well, I prefer open access journals. They disseminates your publication faster. From experience, if I come across closed a journal, I simply look for an open one in the same area that will serve the same purpose except it is crucial. Open access journal is key
One more remark: Many journals allow the authors to post a preprint version of their article on their personal web site or at a repository like arXiv.org but again you should check each journal specifically for checking whether it indeed allows such a thing and for the exact definition of what does this particular journal mean by a preprint. This is commonly known as self-archiving or green open access.
Of course, this probably would NOT suffice if you are officially required to publish open access by, say, your university or your grant agency.
