Dear Alwielland Q. Bello, all main and sub-thinking skills are developed with "Critical Thinking Methods". There is a lot of documentation on this subject. (This is my grandmother's PhD study subject, it's a very nice field)

From a practitioners perspective:

Building on one theory field alone further develops this field.

Building on two or more theory fields might develop both fields, fill the gaps between the fields and thus is more likely to be considered inventive.
