Hello everyone; I am planing to study the interaction of a bacteria in a natural ecosystem. what would be the best strategy to find the interaction of a particular bacteria with same group as well as with other group of bacteria. ?????
Metagenomics study will be helpful if you want to study it in natural ecosystem. You may choose one kind is a standard (Your desired one), and check its impact on other or vice versa. The base will be its load (Diversity = number and eveness) in the system by using 16S rRNA. You may link several physico-chemical variables with this. Keep in mind you have to process several replicates of samples.

Many studies must be done such as antagonism ,commensalism and ....etc. Isolate bacterial species and check antagonis of cell free supernatant of one against other one previously seeded onto agar medium as sensitive strain
