Ms and Bs or any transformation temperature can be easily determined through dilation test. This will be more realistic and accurate.

Otherwise, empirical relationships are available in literature which holds good for certain alloy chemistry and may not be applicable for any alloy system.

Thanks a lot Dr. Vinod but what to do in absence of dilatpmeter,which emperical formulae are valid for high carbon low alloy steel of such type?
