I have worked a lot on Kalman filter in both simulink form and also using the kalman filter in sense of code as a farm of algorithm

So if you have go the answer of the question.

Then that's fine..

Other wise here are some steps to do the automation of the R and Q.

If you will have a complete mathematical model your developed ciruit then you can use that model in the code in form of equations and buy using a range of different approximation...

Your values of R and Q will be automatically changed and set according to the required parameters.
