My research explores the therapeutic potential of video games as a developmentally appropriate and engaging tool within play therapy and behavioral health settings. Drawing from my experience as a therapeutic gaming specialist at Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital and my ongoing studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy, I am interested in how digital play can foster emotional regulation, social interaction, and executive functioning in neurodivergent youth. I aim to build evidence-based frameworks for integrating technology into child and adolescent therapy, co-treatment with allied professionals, and family-based interventions.
