Now, I am doing cationization of cellulose using glycidyltrimethylammonum chloride. after finishing the cationication, i want to calculate cationic group content, i.e trimethylammonium chloride group. if you have experience about this experiment, plz share with me..
Thank you for your question. Besides, conductometric titration there are many other simple methods for analysis of lignocellulosic biomass. The below mentioned researcher has many articles relevant to these analyses. Look specially at the older articles. Happy new year.

-Elemental analysis: it gives you %N, and there is one N atom in every cationic group, so the rest is easy. Any other method to determine %N is valid.
-Potentiometric titration: Direct titration would be with PESNa Or PVSNa until the isoelectric point is reached (0 mV), but I've had some lack of reproducibiliy with fibers this way. For me, a back titration (known excess of PESNa/PVSNa first, then stirring, filtering/decanting and titrating the liquid with PDADMAC) worked better.
-1H-NMR in D2O, as long as the degree of substitution is so high that cellulose became soluble (hard to attain with raw lignocellulosic). Basically, you divide the area of the singlet at 3.2 ppm (9H of N-methyl groups) by let's say 9 times the area of the doublet at lowest field, H-1. Both are easily distingishable.
-FTIR shows a couple peaks at some bands between 1300 and 1500 cm-1 due to stretching of N-CH3 bonds. A semiquantitative approach would be reporting the normalized absorbance at those bands.
-Conductimetry has to work, yes, because at pH 7 at least you are going to have (Alkyl)4N+ and Cl-. But I never went that way.
Also I've seen some people use silver salts and the like but I don't remember the purpose of that.
