We are interested in performing expression arrays for the detection of microRNA. We would like to extract the RNA from plasma samples. I've started extracting using the Qiagen miRNeasy kit. However, our yields are too low to proceed with the arrays. Is there a more appropriate method of extracting the RNA from plasma? Also, since the samples are then miRNA enriched, is there a high risk of over saturation for the arrays? Thank you in advance for all your help.
