Control methods of this pest:
1. Crop rotation
2. Deep plowing after harvest to destroy the winter nests
3. Spraying with Carbaryl (Sevin) and Larvin (Thiodicarb) toxins as soon as larvae leave the eggs
4. Using of the predator: Apanteles taragama

I better recomend to use compatible pesticides or at least chemicals with very short residuality. Using carbamates or pyrethroids will destroy natural ememies and wont allow their to built up maybe for months.
