Researcher use regression analysis (both linear and quadratic) to express how the growth and other relevant parameters correlated with the graded level of nutrient of interest. In a crude way, it is considered that r squared >0.6 is good for this type of study. But, how can we interpret the different values of "r squared" with graded level of nutrient of interest? How can we interpret the r squared value of 0.75?

Please provide some information regarding this.
