Everyday new and novel researches takes place globally. I wonder how could one gets idea or think for such research? Does the change in few experimental parameters in already accomplished work is a new research?
How could a startup researcher prepares a new research topic for his/her research?
In higher studies (PhD or Postdoc research) is it necessary for a scholar to be skilled in all techniques? How could it be? It is not possible.

Science is a way o life; You love it or better look for other job. Science is questioning all the existing knowledge, and on the other hand building on it, it is asking every day a new question and seeking for the answer. To have fun doing science You should be happy asking questions and finding answer. Repeating someone other experiment with new parameters, just to repeat – it is not science. But repeating experiments with new parameters and seeking new results this is OK.
Doing science is like building a cathedra of knowledge, You know where the bricks are and You put Your own brick. First You learn how to make bricks and how to fix them. But bear in mind that not every pile of bricks is a cathedra.
To find a new topic, ask Yourself what do You like to do? What is fascinating for You, read, read, and do it… Look around, it is like finding a new girlfriend. (but don't replace girls with science)
I have changed my topic many times, chemistry, electronics, filtration, medicine, nanotechnology; and I always do it “con amore”.

I agree with your perception. I know research needs time, it is not a time bound work. I always love to do research work and trying to learn and read new things. In due course of my research I have also expand my research interests from soil microbiology to microbial concrete, but this created many limitations to my research field. It is very necessary to have the facilities for doing some different research and a platform to start a new work. And in my opinion this can be achieved by collaborations between disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary research groups.

I very much likes your correct question in correct time, any research is a new research , but it will help to common man, and the end product of research will be use full for the development of very cheaper techniques.

I appreciate your thought and saying. I also feel that research is nothing untill or unless it is not applicable for the benefit of common man. Till date many of the researches proved to be effective but very less is applicable for the benefit of mankind.
I am taking a case of Cancer treatment where the cost of treatment is very high not affordable to common man. Government should take initiative to reduce the cost of such treatment for common man. There are many gaps in the government schemes which is not effective. Studies and research should be conducted in favour of low cost treatments.
Now a days all think if there is no molecular work in our experiment then it has no use. but my question is we forgot our basic knowledge by which we can get many new findings which can be used for beneficial of mankind.
For example, an enzyme which was very active in various conditions and can tolerate extreme conditions then we have to check that whether that can be applicable in such industries or not . I mean the field experiment is necessary in every experiment to prove that the product has some importance.
Research is beginning to reveal that positive thinking is about much more than just being happy or displaying an upbeat attitude. Positive thoughts can actually create real value in your life and help you build skills that last much longer than a smile.
