I'm trying to grow a single crystal of organic compound for X-ray analysis by slow evaporation of a mixture of solvents (toluene/acetonitril, toluene/acetone and etc.) at room temperature. But crystals often don't grow in liquid phase. Formation of dendritic crystals is observed. These crystals grow above the liquid level on vessel walls. What to do to prevent the formation of dendritic crystals?
