Hello Mehdi; One effect of increasing diversity is to increase the density and diversity of parasitoids of the crop pests the grower is trying to avoid. Dear Sir James Des Lauriers I agree with you. The use of cultivars that have a very high purity has caused the fields to become a pure colony and show more weakness against pests and diseases. Whereas farmers used to use crude seeds in the past, they discovered resistant plants.
