In normal bisection paradigm, the sitimulation is one line with a landmark,and the landmark can be middle or leftward or lightward. Subjects need to make a choice between left and right. In this two-forced-choice task, we can fit cumulative Guassin distribution, The psychometric function is revealed by plotting the percentage of "left" (or "right") responses as a function of divation of the landmark. The PSE is given by the 50% point on this function,
But we have the second experiment, the same stimulations as the first. The only difference is that subject need to make a choice between whether the landmark is middle or not.
I struggle in caculating the PSE in the second experiemt, and your help is greatly appreciated..
