I would prefer your answer for any kind of a nanoparticle (NP). I work with Au NPs. But, if LCMS or GCMS can be used with another type of a nanoparticle or NPs please let me know your suggestions.
how about extracting the NPs with a solvent, analyzing the solution by LC-MS/GC-MS and dividing the resulting amount of analyte by the calculated surface area of the particles?
Of course, you need an extraction method, that does not destroy the bond between NP and bound pesticide.
