Hi friends!
I'm using Abaqus to simulate a phenomenon and this simulation contains Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Exp. First, Abaqus solves my model in Standard and results' applying as an initial state in Explicit.
In Standard model I used C3D8R and CIN3D8 element types and completely solved. But, when I apply the initial state in that model in Explicit, in "analysis input file processor" step I encounter with this Error:
"Element 1 of type c3d8r and element 32649 of type cin3d8 in elset assembly_bottom-plate_set-plate are not compatible element types. Only compatible element types listed in the user manual are allowed for import"
What should I do to use CIN3D8 element in my Explicit model while using initial state?
Hexahedral (brick) second-order interpolation elements are not available in Abaqus/Explicit. Hexahedral first order and tetrahedral first and second order elements are available.
According to Abaqus Documentation in transferring results between Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit, Infinite element types can't be imported in new model.
