I want to do a sequentially impact-displacement analysis in Abaqus. At first, doing a collison problem, and then, performing a displacement analysis.
So can we transfer strain results from impact analysis to 2nd analysis. I would like to change the material, so I can not use "predefined field, initial state".
Is there any way to transfer the strain, every answer will be appreciated.

One way is to use the *IMPORT_RESULTS keyword. This keyword allows you to import the results of a previous analysis into a new analysis. To do this, you would first need to save the results of the impact analysis to a file. You can do this by using the *SAVE_RESULTS keyword. Once you have saved the results, you can then import them into the second analysis using the *IMPORT_RESULTS keyword. The following is an example of how to use the *IMPORT_RESULTS keyword:
*IMPORT_RESULTS, RESULT_FILE=impact_analysis.odb, TYPE=STRAIN
This will import the strain results from the file impact_analysis.odb into the current analysis.
Another way to transfer strain results is to use the *FIELD_OUTPUT keyword. This keyword allows you to output the field variables, such as strain, to a file. You can then import these field variables into the second analysis using the *IMPORT_FIELD keyword.
The following is an example of how to use the *FIELD_OUTPUT keyword:
*FIELD_OUTPUT, VARIABLE=STRAIN, OUTPUT_FILE=strain_results.dat
This will output the strain results to the file strain_results.dat. You can then import these field variables into the second analysis using the *IMPORT_FIELD keyword.
*IMPORT_FIELD, FIELD_FILE=strain_results.dat
This will import the strain field variables from the file strain_results.dat into the current analysis. Finally, you can also transfer strain results by manually copying the values from the first analysis to the second analysis. This is not the most efficient way to do it, but it is possible.
According to ABAQUS Analyses user manual, "9.2.1 Transferring results between ABAQUS analyses: overview" you can import model data and results only from models that are defined as assemblies of part instances.

The Keyword reference guide also states that, results can be transferred from a previous Abaqus/Explicit or Abaqus/Standard analysis.

According to ABAQUS analyses user manual, " You can select part instances from your model and associate an initial state field with the instances. An initial state field applies a deformed mesh and its associated material state to the instances using data imported from a previous Abaqus/Standard or Abaqus/Explicit analysis. Abaqus/CAE allows you to select the job name corresponding to the analysis from which the initial state field is imported. You can also specify the particular step and increment of the analysis from which to import data. Abaqus/CAE imports data from several of the files created by the previous analysis. As a result, the files from the analysis must reside in the directory from which you started the current Abaqus/CAE session."
