I really need your help. I want to transfect glutaminergic neurons with ASO and siRNA, but I have no idea which reagent and method can help me more. I have wild type and mutant neurons, I’ve used neuromag transfection, but most of the cells were died; however with NSCs I had 80% efficiency. Please guide me about that. This protocol typically achieves around 20% transfection efficiency, which is sufficient for applications like ICC, live imaging, and certain molecular biology assays.
However, if your work requires a higher transfection efficiency, around 80%, viral infection methods would be a more effective alternative.

I was scrolling posts on ResearchGate and found yours; maybe you are still looking for an efficient solution to transfect your neurons.
I would like to offer you the possibility to test our NeuroMag transfection reagent specifically developed for the genetic modification of neurons and neural cells.
