I am trying to simulate an hypervelocity impact between a SPH sphere and FEM composite material which is a combination of fiber and matrix.

After the impact instead of damage or erosion i obtain elongating grid elements.

I use MAT 010 ELASTIC_PLASTIC_HYDRO for SPH sphere and

MAT 015 JOHNSON_COOK material model for composite fiber and matrix.

The contact keyword i use is ERODING_NODES_TO_SURFACE.
