I would like to model a precast concrete (segment) tunnel lining by Abaqus and also I would like to model reinforcement rebars into concrete independently. Because of the complexity of my sketch that contains 214 rebars small parts, it becomes so hard to me to show the effect of rebar type (ribbed bars) on my FE analysis. I have drawn my design in solidworks software. Here you can see my design. It would be so helpful, if anyone can help me?
If I got your point, you want to model each separately and then assemble them together.

Your reinforcement should be modeled as beam elements because of the interaction between the concrete and the rebars, and the rebars should be embedded in the concrete and the concrete should be the host part.
you might go back to the work by Oral Byukisturk (sp?) in th elate 60's; he developed the reinforced concrete element for MARC
