Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding an experiment. I would like to slow down the growth of fibroblasts (JNHF) in a co-culture setting, so that the melanoma cells cultured alongside them have a chance to attach and start growing, without being overgrown by the fibroblasts.
Since they are cultured together, I’m looking for a method that does not affect the growth of the melanoma cells. Apart from using melanoma-specific medium, serum reduction, or hypoxia, does anyone have experience or suggestions for how to selectively slow down fibroblast proliferation in such a co-culture system?
Thanks in advance!
