The objective function and algorithm code are written in individual MATLAB script files which are subsequently called in the main script. I have implemented single-objective optimization. Now, I want to modify this code for multi-objective optimization.

I think the question is too general. For example, what language is the script in, what files (with objective function, the algorithm code, the main script) do you have access to (you can modify them)?
I suggest you refer to the existing codes in this field to enter this issue, such as MOGWO, ...

If you mean that the algorithm files are in separate folders, you can use the addpath command. But if all the files are in one place, and you want to run several algorithms sequentially (probably some functions will call other functions), you can simply turn the code files into a function and call them.
