I am doing solubility study for that purpose i would like to prepare Tris/KCl buffer, pH 7.4, so please suggest me procedure to prepare same.

Do you mean TBS (a mixture of sodium chloride and potassium chloride)? If so, here is one recipe:
TBS (25 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl, 2 mM KCl, pH 7.4)
8 g NaCl, 0.2 g KCl, 3 g Tris base, 800 ml doubly-dist. H2O
Dissolve Everything, adjust pH to 7.4 using hydrochloric acid, dilute to 1 litre.
Do you mean Tris-HCL? If so,:
-determine firstly the desired concentration and volume of Tris buffer you want to make. (number of grams to dissolve (see the molecular weight of your compound), th -Dissolve the Tris powder into distilled water,
- Add HCl solution to adjust the pH of the Tris buffer solution ( using pH meter and under continuous agitation).

I propose you using the "Buffer Maker" Software. Is very tool easy for buffer design and permit adjust the ionic strength with inert salts. regards
