I have graphene, OH functionalized graphene and polystyrene. I want prepare polystyrene graphene composite via solution casting method. please suggest some common solvent for polystyrene, graphene, OH functionalized graphene.

In the first stage you can solve PS within the toluene (at 50-60C) or DMF(80C). then, sonicate the graphene by used solvent. Now you can mix the dispersed graphene and PS by distinct concentration and put some part of solution in the mold or on the glass. But PS is a non-plolar palymer and I think OH groups can not help to reach better dispersion and you will faced by agglomorations point.
You should apply a vigorous mixing during poring the G-n solution into the PS one!
I think, Ayob Karimzad gives you the right advice. The main thing is to achieve anequelibrium distribution of graphene by volume, which can be done mechanically or by sonication.

Dear Amir, disperse the graphene in a solvent, in which PS dissolves. Then, add dissolved PS slowly and sonicate it after addition.
