How can I prepare a bovine serum albumin (BSA)-conjugated cholesterol solution?

I would like to increase the rate at which my cells absorb cholesterol or other sterols that I add to the culturing medium. Does anyone have an idea or a protocol for conjugation of cholesterol to BSA? That would be very helpful!

Have the BSA solution in a small glass container with a magnetic flea-sitting and rotating on a mag stirrer. Drop wise add the cholesterol solution allowing 10-15 min intervals of mixing. This will take > an hour.
