How can I precipitate DNA by 80% ethanol?

I found un published work about precipitation of DNA with 80% ethanol by desolve it with 80% EOH in dark for couple of hours then spin, wash and air dray. The method worked but I did not found any published work about it. I any body have, I appreciate his/her help.
