Shrimp shell can used as biosorbent by fine grinding and sieving the particles as such or treating with Conc Sulphuric acid to activate the material and then passing the Chromium VI through these fine particles of the shell.

Adsorption can be checked using pH, Concn, time and other factors.

Modification can be done varying the pH using acids and bases.Thereafter,the equilibrium,thermodynamic and kinetic parameters could be determined and optimised .
