1. Actually the built-in materials in Comsol are defined as a function of the refractive index in two tables for n and k and then interpolated. Here's a portion of the Matlab Livelink code:

You could also do this manually in the Comsol environment.

2. You can set the type of port as "User defined".

3. You can use ports or add a Cut Plane data set and perform your evaluation on that data set.

I have successfully implemented the spectrum dependent refractive index and extinction coefficient in the model, however, the measurement of the spectrum distribution of refractive light rays is another challenge.

If there is any trick to measure the spectrum distribution of refractive light rays, please share it with me.
