If these amino acids are present, then the body fluids like the plasma (upon hydrolysis) must give you an increased levels when you will try to estimate these aa using say a simple technique like HPLC.

I know that the concentration can be measured by HPLC but I need to know if there is any other technique like BMI for estimation the final impact of these ( Lysine, methionine and cysteine) amino acids on the growth of children. Certainly I am not looking for the estimation process of plasma amino acids concentration.
