The problem is that in Abaqus it is possible to define upper level assembly from lower lever subassemblies, but only the instances are transferred correctly. All constrains/fasteners are lost and it seems to be necessary to define it again (very frustrating). How can I do it faster?
Geometry of part already is inside ABAQUS (CAE) , and subassemblies were built in ABAQUS.

From Abaqus Documentation 2016: “Abaqus/CAE does not support subassemblies. As a result, assemblies and subassemblies in the imported file appear as a single assembly in Abaqus/CAE.”
From Abaqus Documentation 2018: “Only one assembly can be defined in a model.”
It's pity, so we'll wait for the developers to implement this feature.
i am trying to model the simple mode of the assembly (with track and wheel), maybe after the "Translate instance" and "Translate to" function would help your problem as well. but i am not sure about the "Set" function. should i apply with this parameter after the assemble part?
