I adjusted the pH value to 2.5 and 3.5 for N doped TiO2 and I want to knnow if the catalyst can dissolve in these values or not. If N doped TiO2 has been dissolved, what are the expected forms after dissolution. When I stirred the catalyst in acid for two days and put it for settling, i found that the catalyst settled and the solution is clear, Is that mean the catalyst can not be dissolved in acid?

I think. when you found that the catalyst settled and the solution is clear, Is that mean the catalyst can not be dissolved in acid, therefor you must find another solute can be dissolved your materials such as ethanol or by increasing acidity for solution by adding a few drops from HCL until you make sure all materials were dissolved, and you can test that by showing the solution will be homogeneous.

TiO2 doesn`t dissolve in acid. In fact, this property is its advantage in comparison with ZnO.
Yes, ICP in a dependable technic for recognizing trace amount of Ti.
Try a mixture of NH4OH:H2O2, it is used to etch Ti by oxidizing it fully (H2O2) and dissolving the TiO2 in NH4OH.
Hot nitric acid (69 wt %) also slowly dissolves TiO2, but do you actually want to dissolve it?
Do AAS or ICPMS. According to your information, it is not dissolved. Try hard acid and chnge the pH.
