I have performed FT-RAMAN of Carbon dots and graphene oxide. how can i interpret the spectra. i need some suggestion of related articles. please suggest.
I suppose you interpret them the same way you interpret "classical" Raman spectra as in Article Raman Spectra of Graphite Oxide and Functionalized Graphene Sheets
FT-Raman might generate different relative intensities and hopefully a better resolution, besides that a Raman active line stays a Raman active line.
You can interpret by using conventional spectroscopic method even for graphene oxide hope you find characterization of carbon dot using below mentioned link
You can interpret it in a normal way depending upon functional groups and their relative vibration frequencies. for carbon dots, it relied on the region of 1000 to 1400 cm-1 with different stretching frequencies depending upon the structure. However, for graphene the appearance of D and G bands is still the gold standard for confirmation.
