Is there any animal (mice) model?
I tried to induce acne in Swiss Albino male mice via topical application of testosterone gel (twice daily for 15-20 days) (reported method). But got no results. Later extended this study by injecting p.acnes strain intra-dermally (100ul) with continued application of testosterone. acne got induced but results were not reproducible. I tried on only 2 animals out of which one got diseased.
Kindly suggest any modification or any other reproducible and reliable model.
