I'm preparing H2O2 biosensor by growing nanodot on substrat, but the sensitivity always very low, is it because of the HRP, or Nafion or PBS? or because of the Initial potential of the Amperometric method and the Sensitivity (A/V)?
You may use the enzyme cascade in your bio sensor. Every enzymatic reaction will amplify the signal and this will increase the sensitivity of the bio sensor. For that you need to select the cascade having enzymes working in similar condition and no effect on enzyme with the substrate/ product of other.
Thank you so much.. when i do CV for my biosensor, i found in the first time there is anodic peak potential and small cathodic peak potential, but after washing this biosensor and leave it to dry and use it again, there is no anodic and cathodic peak potential..do you think there is problem with Nafion because nafion use to protect and keep the HRP enzyme for long term and stable and in the same time because the nafion the sensitivity of the biosensor is very low??..by the way i used before 11 months ago same materials, reagents, Enzyme (HRP), Nafion and i got very high sensitivity... so why this time is very low.
