I would like to implement tresca failure criteria in an elastic-plastic material model in ABAQUS/standard. How can I make it in a fast way.

i saw in a paper that with some formulas related the results from Tresca Failure to Von Mises and at it earlier concepts and you can improve it in your field of working
You just should check the maximum shear stress. Your admissible shear strength is the tensile strength (Sy or Sut depending your criteria) divided by 2. If you want do it automatically you can use an macro or an script.
