I would like to implement a custom algorithm ( for instance Round robin algorithm) in CloudSim. As the result of my researches, I have found out that I may change the DatacenterBroker. So, generally, I would like to know which parts should be changed corresponding to my different purposes. Any help is appreciated in advance.

Are you working at the IaaS level (i.e. are you interested by VM scheduling policies). ?

You need to extend your desired classes such as Cloudlet, DatacenterBroker and other related classes. The most important class that has to be changed is the DatacenterBroker. In this class you should implement your own algorithm for submitting the clouldlets for execution(I suppose you would like to implement task scheduling.). There are some methods in this class which are used to submit cloudlets, VM creation, assigning cloudlets to Vms and ... based on simple policies which have already been defined.
Try to change them based on your desired policies.
