Now a days it is quite common to experience professional conference gatherings around the world. There are organizers who are really making business on this field. I would like to get piece of information from any one; how can we really identify credible conferences or organizers as there are a number of groups who just run only for business.

A conference belongs to an organisation, a research organisation such as university or research lab, is good. But some conferences belongs to unknown organisation or fake organisation ... those are not good.

First, a bit of unpleasant truth. Most confrence organisers do organise conferences for profit, because it is their business. The rest are non-profits and associatiations. I'd suggest you may do
- a bit of desk research regarding conferences in your field of study,
- check who was the organiser (the real organiser might have been a conference servis company on behalf of the scientific associations)
- read participants reviews or ask participants directly),
- check the financial conditions
- and decide based on the available budget and price/performance ratio.
You might also select a few venues you'd like to have your conference at (typically large hotels or conference centers) and perform a bit of search around them, including asking the societies that have their conferences at the selected venues.
- First, for sure you have some conditions in your mind that can help you in judging which organizer will be needed for your conference.
- Look at the website of the organizer and read what they claim about themselves, and search for how many and which conferences they have organized.
- Send email to the parties that have selected those organizers and seek their feedback
- Look for reviews/attendance comments if there is any!
- If you have experience while you attended any relevant conference, what did you feel.
