When I perform my experiment I found a FC induction of 15 times after intervention, this induction is very reproducible between the experiments after 1 day of several weeks. However the readout fluorescence signals are very different in magnitude, so for example in exp1 the values are 1 (control situation) and 15 AU after the intervention in other experiments however the readouts are 10, to 150 AU or even 100 versus 1500 AU, all the 3 experiments will give a fold Change of 15 after normalisation to 1. Now I want to know if it's true.
What statistcal test will be the best strategy to perform?
When you have two groups to compare I would perform a paired test, such as the paired t-test. If the variances are unequal you could consider Welch's t-test
Yes, that should be able to deal with the data. However, as far as I understand it has less power. So if you don't violate the assumpations of the other tests I would useon of those.
