I have silicon nanopowders and want to calculate bandgap of it but getting wrong results and no absorption even in crystalline silicon powder. I tried DI and some organic solvents but it didn't help. Please let me know if someone knew it.
yeah particle size varies from micron to sub-micron to nano but still in dense solution like ethylene glycol they tend to be agglomerate than disperse.
I tried sonication too every time but results again the same.
